Our Story

Since 1954, Fort Myers Memorial Gardens has been the final resting place for over 20,000 citizens. Our striking mausoleums with three magnificent chapels, a garden and private mausoleums have been designed to bring solace and comfort to your family. Our funeral home and cemetery are located within the same complex, thus eliminating the need for a long and tedious procession from one location to another. Established in 1984, the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home was added to provide convenience to our families. Landscaped gardens and special areas for Masonic, Jewish and Veteran communities are some of the major highlights of our facility.

Theresa, I want to thank you so very much for being a calming influence for me during this horrible time of loss. You have a gift, a really sweet spirit and I so appreciated it. Thank you for doing what you do! See you in April. Sincerely,
Peggy Owen
Dear Dan, on behalf of the Laurenti family, I'd like to thank you and your staff for their kindness and compassion. Even though mom was 92, you're never prepared. What helped a great deal was Kevin's help in pre-planning several months ago. Everything went very smoothly in Fort Myers and Long Island.

I can't get over how gentle and kind you all were during one of my saddest days of my life and we can't thank you enough for that. The funeral was beautiful — you did such a great job setting it all up. So many people were telling us afterwards how wonderful everything looked. The military salute was priceless and all noticed a strong gust of wind came as the Marine brushed his hands over the urn. We will forever be grateful for such a beautiful tribute to my wonderful dad.

From the first day we met, Dan put us at ease immediately. We were so pleased with the way Mom's funeral was planned, and he went above and beyond our expectations to make it a wonderful celebration of her life. Dan arranged for the military honors, set up the room beautifully, told us how the service would run, guided every moment so that we could be at ease and overall helped us through the most difficult time of our lives.

My family and I would all like to thank you for the beautiful job of making my mother's memorial service a good one. I will visit her often and appreciate the care you took with her.
