  1. Mom and Dad

    Written by: Deborah Claussen

It’s been about 2 months since the passing of both Mom and Dad. When ever I start to miss them I remember that they are happy holding hands in heaven watching down on us. They taught us strength, unconditional love, honesty, and integrity just to name a few. They taught us kids to support and love each other. Mom and Dad I know you are looking down at us proud at the family you created. It continues to grow with two new great grandchildren who I know will be celebrated and loved like you taught us. Always in our thoughts with love.

    Poem for Janet P. Murrell
    Written by: Riann Brown
She loved to let us know

    Dedicated to Grandma
    Janet P. Murrell

You can love it or you can hate it, that she was never much for waiting
And she loved to let you know, when it was time for her to go
Not away from us you see, just back to her reality
Which always seemed to be, right here with her loving family
Although it wasn’t us she needed, it was her that it would be
The one that would shape us all forever, outward and internally
No matter where she would go, she would always let us know
How proud of us she was, and that it was never just because
What we did or what we had, it was for us that she was glad
Well just to let you grandma, without you there would be no me
So thank you for all the love and company, that you bestowed upon me
Because now your love flows freely, from you onto your family
And her love will always grow, because she loved to let us know

    Riann Brown
