Juan was drafted after graduation for professional baseball and played in the minor-league system for the California Angels and was later traded to the Oakland A’s.
After leaving baseball, Juan moved to Fort Myers with a fellow ball player to Fort Myers. He loved living in the area and competed in many softball leagues and dart leagues along with playing golf. He was awesome at all sports.

Juan loved his hangouts, The Half Shell Lounge and Gator Lanes, and made a whole family from all his friends.
