Joyce Claudia White

July 21, 1944 - April 24, 2022

Joyce C White (Robidoux) of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on April 24, 2022, after a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was 77 years old. Joyce was born in Manchester, New Hampshire and moved to Fort Myers in 1994. She had a long career as a human resource director in banking and healthcare. Throughout her career, Joyce was always looking to improve herself and further her education. A bachelor’s degree was earned while taking night courses. She also served as president for the New Hampshire Human Resources Assoç, as well as, on the board of several other organizations. She is survived by her children, Joe Schraeder, Linda Schraeder, Mary Jane Phifer, James Dennis White Jr., Kim Teehan, Steven Logar, her sister JoAnn Werner, and grandchildren, Josh Cates, Trevor Teehan, and Savannah Phifer. Joyce was predeceased by her husband James D. White Sr., brothers Gary and Alan Tassinari, and granddaughter, Cyndi L Schraeder. Family was most important to Joyce. She was a single mom working full-time and going to college at night. Somehow, she always found time to put her children first and make time for her valued friends. She enjoyed several hobbies including crossword puzzles, watercolor painting, computer word games and cooking. Joyce was a loving and compassionate woman who was loved dearly and will be missed so much by many. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for both Joyce and her late husband James will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022, inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends are welcome to gather for the ceremony beginning at 10:30 AM also inside the funeral home chapel.
