Phillip Maurice Lawwill, 81, of Fort Myers, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born February 10, 1941 in Middletown, Ohio to William and Lucille (Griffith) Lawwill. He proudly served in the United States Army where his area of expertise was communications. He retired in 1997 from Ford Motor Company following 30 years of service, He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and attended Faith United Methodist Church. Mr. Lawwill is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Marsha L. Lawwill; his two children: Andrea Petrollini (Robert) of Fort Myers and Hugh Lawwill of Liberty Township, Ohio; his grandchildren, Emily (Bryant) and Kara (Chris); his great grandchildren: Mila and Gino and his siblings: Marlene Halsey of Kentucky and Rick Lawwill of Ohio. Cryptside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, February 25 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military rites conducted by the United States Army.
