So sorry to hear of Al’s passing. He will always be remembered as a lifelong friend
I will never forget all the great times we had together. Probably are most joyous years were with you guys in Naples. The great golf games, the dinners, just being with you. It’s just too difficult to express all my feelings at this time.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss. Al was a cousin on my Fathers side of the family and we grew up in Bedford, Ohio together, our families were very close. Although I had more in common with his younger brother Rich (Football, golf, baseball, etc.), Al was always there for us as the big protective brother and cousin when things got tense. He was looked up to by all the younger guys in the neighborhood due to his caring character and ability to exceed in athletics. It is interesting for his love of cooking and being in the kitchen because his Mother (Millie) was one of the BEST cooks as I recall when growing up, I remember sharing several meals at their house on Ivanhoe in Bedford that Millie’s Italian meals were terrific and have never been matched. I regret that we didn’t stay in touch over the last years due to us living only a few hours away from Cape Cod, in Clearwater, Florida. RIP Dear Cousin…..all that you have touched in your life will miss you……

Poem by Elizabeth Frve Do not stand by my grave and weep I am not there I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I didn’t die Al will be remembered by many, He was in the Bedford High class of “59” and will be remembered by his classmates FOREVER
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With sympathy – Frank and Betsy
Dad, my heart is broken and there is and always will be a huge void without you. There will not be a day that goes by where I won’t think of you or that you won’t be missed. All that is good in me was you. You were one of a kind! Your grandkids were so in love with you and you with them. You will live on in me and in them. I love you! Love always, your daughter Kristi
Cheryl – I just saw your husband’s obituary in the paper today & am very saddened for you. I know it has been a rough few years, & I hope you can take comfort in knowing how much support, care, & love you gave him. May the good memories carry you through this difficult time & on….
