He was born July 29, 1941 in Bedford, OH to Alfred and Mildred Carnevale, now deceased.Al was a skilled carpenter by trade and built a successful construction and cabinet company in the Bedford area. His passion for the business then led him to continue his trade in Florida. He was well known for his perfectionism and gained lots of respect from many people. He was also a stickler for timeliness and cleanliness.Your timeliness showed your character to Al, and cleanliness of your person and vehicle determined whether or not you were hired for the job! His hobbies consisted of golfing, fishing, cooking and motorcycling. He also loved going to the beach and basking in the sun, and trying to find unmarked treasures on the beach. He was also a great chef and loved to cook many homemade Italian meals. His signature sauce and gnocchi’s were loved by everyone. There were whole days spent in the kitchen making homemade raviolis. He enjoyed the passion of cooking and wanted to share his love for that with everyone! Al was a major sports enthusiast. His love for his hometown teams was great! He was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers and Ohio state. Even though he relocated to Florida, he still followed all of the Ohio teams very closely. If there was one thing that he really enjoyed was spending time with his Grandchildren. He was the best Grandfather anyone could ever ask for. He was very attentive, patient, loving and liked to teach them everything he could.
