To Bonnie, Gary, Dayle, and Laurie, I have many fond memories of visits with "Shorty" and your mom along with my parents Ruth and AJ Pickford, when you all lived next door to the Dixie Drive In. Your Dad even surprised my parents with a visit to their farm home in later years in Hudson, MI. Of course they have both passed away now. Dayle I remember you as helping with the La-Z-Boy girls softball team. Fun times! After Mom and Dad passed I went thru their photos and there were quite a few of your Dad and Mom and my Mom in their younger years. I apologize for not getting them to Gary. I'm not sure if Gary is still living in the Monroe area. It is sad to lose your parents no matter the age, but I pray for peace and comfort for you all and just know he is in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Shorty was such a good friend to my dad Floyd Sachs I am thankful that they both enjoyed each others company, I pray that they will again play shuffle board together.
