Alfred C. Kull's Obituary
Mr. Alfred C. Kull of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Hope Hospice – ShellPoint with his loving family by his side. He was 93. Alfred was born June 3, 1923 in Newport, Michigan; son of the late Charles C. and Dora Kull. He was a proud U. S. Army veteran of WWII. During his time in the military, he fought in the Battle of the Bulge and earned European, African and Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbons, 4 Bronze Battle Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. Alfred was a long-time and faithful memober of Zion Lutheran Church of Fort Myers, Florida. Working early in his life as a farmer, he also had an entrepreneurial spirit as the owner operator of several small businesses in Newport, Michigan and Fort Myers, Florida. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice Kull (1996); his brother, Delbert Kull and a great grandson, Rylan Kull. Alfred is survived by his children, Bonnie Krafft (Randy), Gary Kull (Janice), Dayle Kull (Cindy) and Laurie Barger (Bill). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan Krafft (Katia), Brett Kull (Kellie), Chad Kull (Jill), Marc Kull (Jessica), Alison Kull and Branden Barger. Alfred is the loving great grandfather of 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be private. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Janice, in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church 7401 Winkler Road, Fort Myers, Florida 33919.
