Gonna miss uncle Allen. Had grand old times with him at all family events. He was like an uncle to me. Allen and I connected on real and logical conversations, and I always appreciated and considered his advises. Rest In Peace my friend.

I enjoyed working with Allen for over two years. Allen was an expert in his field, a "true" expert. Allen had a unique way to persuade people to his point of view, he always circled back to the point in contention similar to a trial attorney. Allen would explain what was right without making them feel like they lost the battle. I will miss our fun conversations we had during lull times, we talked about many subjects that we both liked, such as cars, sports and politics. I loved to get Allen to smile and laugh, when I could get him to let go, it was my reward to see him smile and laugh! I know he loved his family, our country and his friends, I will miss Allen.

Allen was our friend and family for over 40 years. He was the brother I never had. He did everything with us from cookouts to Nascar, football and even some vacations. He didn't say much but when he did, it mattered. Friends and family went to him for advice. We are still in shock that he is gone. Allen you will be greatly missed. Louise and Bob
So sorry to hear of Alan's passing. I knew him through friends and remember him always being a great guy.
We are so very sad to learn of Allen's passing. Friends for over 30 years, We shared stories of our home towns (Moline and Kewanee). We will miss him much. Now he is reunited with his son and buddy Dick. R.I.P. Allen, you were one of the "good" guys! We know God has you in his arms for eternity.
You were always at the family cook outs. You were present when both of the girls were born. You are our family. We love you and know you are in a better place! Have a shot of fireball for us!! See you on the other side……
