So sorry for your loss. I dread the day . Keep busy abd God bless.
Annelle and Family, Sorry to hear of your loss. You may not remember me. Your family, Parents, etc. lived next door to us when we were very young, on East Jefferson. In fact, our fathers sang together in a gospel quartet called the Four Singing Salesmen from Purcell's. They were on the radio early mornings. I remember your family fondly. May you have the Peace that only God can give. Mary Alice Coward Greer
Our thoughts and prayers are with your families
As we met Mr. Tidwell in his later years it did not define the impact he made on both of us. Gracious gentleman, loving father, doating grandfather, and inspiration. His love for his family, friends, and life in general was easily seen from his handshake and his welcoming smile. Thank you for your service to our country during the Korean War. You will be missed but memories of you will live on with all of us. Our deepest condolences to the family.
Allen and I grew up together in Charlottesville and attended grammar school and high school together until the 12th grade when his family moved back to Florida. I knew the whole family who lived just around the corner from me on Cherry Avenue. Delightful family. I ocassionally attended church with the family. Allen and I had some delightful times in his 1936 ford during our school years.
