Allen Tidwell, 79, of Cape Coral, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011.?á He was born December 3, 1931 in Andalusia, AL and moved to Cape Coral from Lakeland in 2008.?á He is a United States Marine and served during the Korean War.?á He retired from Publix Supermarkets following 41 years of service where he served as Director of Shopping Centers.?á He was a member of Jackson Masonic Lodge #1 F & AM and Scottish Rite.?á ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Mr. Tidwell leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years, Annell Tidwell; his children: Paul Tidwell (fianc??, Sonya) of Cape Coral, Jan Clark (Owen) of Cape Coral and Mark Tidwell (Lori) of Fort Myers; his grandchildren: Kendal, Ryan, Jared (Brooke), Kristen (Kevin), Jeremy (Jenny), Allen and Katie; five great grandchildren and his sister, Ramona Jarvis of Ocala.?á He was preceded in death by his son, David Tidwell in 2008 and his sister, Willette Tidwell in 1962. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, November 21, 2011 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.?á Friends will be received from 5 ?Çô 7 PM Sunday at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice of Lee County, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908 or www.hopehospice.org. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.?á Online condolences may be made at: www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
