To Ann's siblings and children: I knew Ann at Central High and liked her a great deal. She was always friendly and had a big smile for everyone. My parents knew the Gleysteens well in Sioux City and they moved to the Ft. Myers area in the early 80s, where Ann's parents had gone as well. My family visited my mom and dad several times a year for many years. Each time we drove past Fiddlesticks my dad would say, "that's where the Gleysteens live, you know." I always asked if they knew anything about Ann, and sometimes they had a little to tell me. I learned she had married a dentist, I believe from Denmark, that she had been living in Denmark for a time, that she liked antiques, that she came back to Ft. Myers, just little bits and pieces. I saw Ann in 2012 in Sioux City at our 50th reunion. We talked for quite sometime. She told me of her second marriage and that her husband had passed away a few years earlier. She expressed sympathy at the passing of my wife, Marilyn Bacon Wilderson, whom she had known from Central. She also kindly talked to me about visiting my mother's house on Sanibel and how much she had enjoyed my mom's antiques and her decorating. My mother would greatly have appreciated those words. Ann seemed vibrant and full of life at the time. I am definitely taken aback by her passing. She was a great person and I am so sorry for all that you have lost.Paul Wilderson IIIPrinceton, NJ
