I had the privilege to work with Art at American National for many years. He was always the most respected of co-workers because he genuinely cared about others.
My thoughts and prayers to Mary, Lori, Brian and family. I remember coming to the farm when my sister, Carol, and I were young and playing on the farm. We "helped" Art and James feed the cows and many other fun times. Love from Cousin Conni Mitchell Braun.
My thoughts and prayers are with Mary and the family. Art & I were close when he worked at American National. He loved to come around and joke and laugh with me. He was a tightwad with his money but had a good heart and a caring soul. Will miss you, Art!

I was privileged to know Art for many of his years at American National. He always had a smile on his face and a positive word. I know he will be greatly missed, he was a kind and special man.
So sorry to learn of Art's passing. He was one of the first people I worked with at American National. Art had a good heart and was always patient with everyone, especially those of us that were so young and learning about life. Art was both a character and a man of character, who's legend lived on far past his retirement. Godspeed Art.
