Barbara was one of our Hope Hospice volunteers for 14 years. She was always willing to sit with patients or take patients to doctor appointments. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
My name is Marleen Hewins. I taught Saturday aerobics at Kelly Greens for 18 years. Barbara was an avid pupil. In fact, she was at my class 3 weeks before she passed away with her daughter. I did not know that she was ill. She never showed that she was not well. She may have complained about a back ache or shoulder pain but that was it. I was very shocked to hear of her illness and death. I will miss her very much because she was an inspiration to me. She kept the girls in class in line when they were talking and not listening. She had a strong arm, but she had a kind heart. My sincerest sympathy do all her family and close friends.
