Barbara Doud Cameron, 82 years of age, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at HealthPark Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida.?á Mrs. Cameron was born of September 26, 1930 in Rochester, New York, a daughter of the late Alfred Doud and Helen Whitney Doud. Barbara was the widow of Bruce Miller, her husband of 48 years who passed away in 2005. She was an avid volunteer for Hope Hospice of Lee County for 24 years. Barbara was a 1952 graduate of the University of ?áRochester School of Nursing, receiving her bachelors degree as a Registered Nurse. Her memberships included, the Captiva Island Yacht Club, Sanibel-Captiva Power Squadron, Kelly Greens Golf Club, U of R Alumni Association, Rochester Country Club and the Rochester Yacht Club. She had resided in the Fort Myers area since 1982 coming from Rochester, NY. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Dale (Joseph) Cameron-Kody of Pittsford, NY, Alexander (Sian) Cameron of Penfield, NY, Patricia Cameron of Boulder, CO and Martha Cameron of Syracuse, NY; her grandchildren, Jessica Kody, Hillary Kody, Margaret Kody, Alexander Cameron, Matthew Cameron and Patrick Mahar; her sister, Patricia Rolfsen of Canandaigua, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
