Barry at your Memorial Service Saturday the outpouring of "LOVE AND SUPPORT FOR YOUR FAMILY" was amazing. You are soooo missed. Your Family is strong and we can see they will be holding up one another every day in their time of need. Donnie Brown and Deb
I'm speechless! I never go on FB but it just so happened that David & I are driving to OK, and as we were listening to Hair Nation, we started reminiscing about all the GREAT times we had rocking out with Emerson. Those years are so memorable and we'll continue to cherish them forever. Needless to say we were shocked and deeply saddened to learn about Barry's passing. We feel Blessed for having the pleasure of knowing one of the sweetest spirits we'd ever met. Our hearts break and our prayers go out to the entire Emerson family, as we know he was surely loved and will be missed forever!
Wow, I'm floored! RIP Barry. My sincerest condolences to everyone. I still see that 15 y.o. kid and his twin bro Brett that I met after I met Greg Emerson in a music store in Port Charlotte. He invited me out to Shotgun where we met ma & pa & jammed all night. You are missed big time, Barry! Have a great time in that Big Band in the sky and say hi to Jimi, Stevie Ray and Chris Conell for us. (it's gettin' real dusty in here)
Even though Barry was not my uncle from blood he was still my Uncle Barry! I will cherish all the memories we had on Burnt store road and camping of course. May you Rest In Peace with Bri Guy. You will be missed and so loved
Goodbye my best friend
We didn’t stay in touch
But one thing for sure
Our friendship will never end
We grew up and drifted apart
Like the out going tide
And I can’t wait
To see you on the other side
Fred
My favorite memory of Barry is when we would all go camping off Burntstore road. We had so much fun and he would sit by the fire and sing and make everyone laugh. He was an amazing musician and a great person and I will miss him. He is now with Little bri man and he is happy. Love you Barry
