Aunt Bertie and Uncle Wes were awesome parents and great role models. They lived always in God's light and were beacons for one another. They helped people – anyone in trouble or just trying to weather a storm. They knew love, deep and abiding love. Such love, such grace grows and expands and never leaves us.
Sandy, Melanie, and SuEllen, As far back as I can remember, I've known your mom and dad through my mother, Cleon. What wonderful, loving, Christian people they were. I remember so often going into their little store on Palm Beach Blvd … seeing both Bertie and Wes, hard at work, always with a smile on their face, always a kind word.
