Thanks Bob for the lovely memory.
Val, yes there had been lovely memories. Thanks
We were stationed in Hawaii together and we had great fun playing softball when Billy was our Coach. We were the team of misfits and everyone got to play and I really enjoyed my time with him. We have kept in touch over the years and I very much appreciated it. Prayers of comfort for the family and friends. Fair Winds and Foloowing Seas my friend.

This was Billy's retirement ceremony in Brawdy in 1985! What a wonderful day that was especially after with lots of friends and a great party.
I remember when I was a very small child, maybe 3- 4 years old, someone brought up the idea of going to Dairy Queen. Well us older children really wanted to go so, you only had to say D.Q. in our home and our little ears perked up. However, dad was tired and didn't really want to go. So, us little ones mind you at the ages of like 5, 4 and 2 along with our mother got hold of dad's arms and legs and started dragging him along the floor toward the door. Arms and legs aimlessly being lifted by one little child and another child dropping an arm or leg. I think we were all laughing so hard and having fun in the mist of dads amusement that it made it much more difficult to accomplish the task. Dad finally pulled himself up and with a big smile said "lets go" lol Love Christina
