Working with Bruce was truly an honor. He was here, on-time, every day and put in a full day’s work. Sure, he would sometimes complain about a particular job or who he would be working with, but he always gave 100% no matter what and his work was always excellent. You could always trust that the job was done right when Bruce was the Party Chief. The high working standards he set for himself would elevate others to that high standard and that made the department, and the company, a better place to work.Johnson Engineering just won’t be the same without Bruce Ellis. We will miss him greatly.
I go back a few years, but to Karen and Mike I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother/brother-in-law Bruce. As a fellow Eagle Scout I know he was a “good man”. But, you don’t get there without having the love and learning those lasting values from the very beginning, from his family. And after reading the other comments he certainly learned his lessons well!While Bruce may be gone for now those special memories can never be taken away and his spirit will be watching over you forever! He was one of the “good guys” and will surely be missed. I can’t believe this has happened. He was very kind and would do anything for anyone. He and Cindy were a great team and they got beyond all the “stuff” and became better friends than they ever could be. That is how I met Bruce, I let them use my mare if they would take care of her and they did. I hate to sound like a bumbling idiot but, I just can’t believe this. He was a special person. I know GOD has him with him now, Bruce was just kind. I know this is going to be hard on everyone who knew him, he was that kind of person. He sure left some big shoes to fill and his grandkids will never get the chance to know him now, they are just too young but, I know Cindy and he will live on through her for them. I am so sorry for all his family and friends that had the honor to know him. You will be missed so much.
I’m so sorry Cindy, I wish I could be there to support you, I know the Lord has your back. Prayers go out to you and his family. You were at his side when he needed you and knew you loved him to the end. Rest in peace with assurance that he is with the Lord now. Bless you Cindy.

Honorable (An honorable person is someone who believes in truth and doing the right thing — and tries to live up to those high principles.) noble, fair, just, kind, big hearted, loving, family man. Bruce Ellis you are loved and will be missed greatly by your loved ones. No one will ever fill your shoes. There will never be another Bruce. He sure loved me, Seth and his grandchildren. We were Blessed to have him in our lives. He made a difference. He made our world a better place. I can never Thank him enough for loving me, our boy and his grand-babies.
