I just want you girls to know how much we love you and will be praying for you and your family in this most difficult time. I am grieving with you, and will Bruce so much. David and I are going to Kentucky this weekend. We leave early Friday morning and get back Monday. We will truly miss being not getting to be at the service on Friday evening. So many, many, memories! I will be sharing but just want you to be assured of my prayers and love.
Bruce was a dear friend to both my husband and I for many years. Even though our paths parted a few year ago, he remained a faithful friend. I always enjoyed getting messages from him saying, how you doing kid. He loved his wonderful grandkids and always sent me a message letting me know when he was going to visit them. We have been neighbors with Bruce for about 22 years. He was a great friend and neighbor, and we will miss seeing him and talking with him. He had a strong faith, and he sure adored his daughters and grandchildren. We know that he is in heaven now and resting. Well done, good and faithful servant! You touched so many with your friendliness and good nature. Our heartfelt sympathies to the family. You will be in our hearts forever.
Bruce was one of the first friends we made when visiting and finally moving to Cape Coral, FL. He has been a wonderful friend to my family over these many years. He loved people and had a natural easy going manner that made him everyone's friend. Down to earth, hard-working, joking, laughing, caring man…loved his daughters and grandchildren so very much…he always wanted to be with them and was always mentioning them when we spoke. He opened his home and hosted the young men in our church, gave them a place to go, gave them good advice. When young men were about to get married he would have a number of us men meet and talk with them at his home…he really tried to minister to others in the ways he could. I'll miss Bruce calling me during the week and complain about how hot it is, or ask how I'm doing. I'll miss mowing with him on Saturdays during the summers. He was such an easy going guy…I miss you my friend. As a fellow believer in Jesus Christ, I look forward to seeing you and hearing your great laugh again one day.If you knew Bruce and are reading this…please know he would want you to know and love and believe in Jesus too.
