Mary and family I am so very sorry for your loss. Cal was a fun loving man who had his interest in life, like travel, golf, games, and of course Mary. He went through his life at his pace and with a fun spirit. Seeing him, I always expected to see his side kick Mary. I knew it was just him on the golf course. Traveling with Cal and Mary in Hawaii, California, Rhode Island was fun and adventurous. Marian and Cal enjoyed sharing cooking duties at the SeaWatch condo. Bob and Cal had many rounds of golf, in and out of bunker’s, together. Cal knew when it was Marian’s turn to cook dinner it would be after the sunset. Cal said, "When you've seen 1 sunset you have seen them all." We will miss his friendship and humor. Our deepest sympathy and love
I always found it very easy working with and around Calvin he could always gave me something to think about that was humorous to me. He didn’t have a problem telling people what was on his mind and I liked that in him. My wife and I enjoyed the few times we had spent with Calvin and Mary at the Union dinners, great memories. We never stopped worrying about him and Mary living in Fort Mayer’s especially this past few years with the hurricanes. Cal was one of the sweetest men I’ve ever met. We had such a good time traveling on a cruise a few years ago at Christmas time. Cal had a different holiday outfit including hats. He won a prize for the ugly sweater contest on the ship. We had so many fun times with Cal and his wife Mary. He loved Jesus and we had many discussions about heaven. Enjoy heaven my friend.
My favorite memory is when I put the Kentucky Derby on at the campground the first time and we just said who we liked and Cal said I'm rooting for Calvin Burrell. Cause I like his name. And he won and Cal was so excited. Had a lot of fun at the campground.

John and I remember all the wonderful get togethers we had playing cards, especially the Super Bowl parties at Cal and Marys home in Brigantine.
