Calvin John Sandt's Obituary
Calvin John Sandt, 85, passed away on Sunday June 18th, 2023 in Cape Coral, Florida where he had been a resident since 1999.
Formerly from Brigantine, New Jersey, Calvin was of the Baptist faith and spent his retired years keeping busy with jigsaw puzzles and playing pinochle at the senior center. He also enjoyed playing golf and bowling, and loved square dancing. He was a devoted member of the Shriner’s International and Freemasons Fraternal Organizations. He was a 62 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Mary; children Cathy Vogt (Chuck) of Pennsylvania, Douglas Sandt (Denice) of Louisiana, Cynthia Annotti (Michael) of California, and Cathy Cooley (Ryan) of Texas; grandchildren Alex, Morgan, Spencer, Makenna, Angelo, Hunter, Vito, Caitlyn, Cameron and Maggie; and his brothers Edward and Kenny (Cheryl) Sandt of Florida. He was preceded in passing by his sister Anna Ward.
A memorial service to honor Calvin will be held at a later date.
