My dearest Phyllis, John & Jo, I was so sorry to hear about your father's passing. I know we never lose the people we love. They live the rest of our lives with us in our heart. As you know, Uncle Carmine played a significant role in my early childhood. The memories of Carmine dressing up as Santa on Christmas Eve at Grandma's house, picking me up on Friday's in the summer to spend the weekend on Long Island, swimming in the pool, summers in VA and his teasing me by calling me "Liza" will always be with me. When the people we love become memories, the memories become treasures because they are all we have. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see him at Jesse's wedding. I love you all more than you know.
