Carol Lee Plesic-Zaremba's Obituary
Carol Lee Plesic-Zaremba, 77, of Fort Myers passed away on January 4, 2024 peacefully at home. Carol was born June 27, 1946, to Joseph and Kathryn (Stayduhar) Plesic in Youngstown, OH. In 1984 she married the love of her life, Stephen C. Zaremba and embarked on a new journey that brought them to Florida.
Throughout her life Carol devoted many years to teaching in the Lee County School System. She was an exceptional educator, highly recognized by her peers, and was dedicated to those in need, both students and her community. This dedication led Carol and Steve to embrace Damian Pierre, who became the most important part of their lives. They showed him the world through many travels and supported him in all his education, sports and career endeavors.
Carol is preceded in passing by her parents, husband, and sister (Kathleen Plesic).
Carol leaves her loving memory with her cherished survivors, Damian Pierre, sisters Margaret Florek and Marilyn Strachan, and many nieces and nephews.
Carol's family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Garden with the tender care of her final arrangements. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be planned at a future date.
