My family lived across the street from the Gordon’s throughout our childhood and we all played neighborhood games together and spent our after school time together. Even as a child, Carol was a leader and always a good and true friend. We are very sorry for your loss.

This news breaks my heart. Your mom was one of the strongest women I have ever met. Her devotion to her family first and for most was without a doubt her most endearing quality. But there were many more qualities that others looked to your mom for support. She loved her job and caring for the residents as if they were her own family. Please know you will always have a piece of your mom in your heart for eternity. And I hope in time, the great memories you have will outweigh the heartbreak of loss.

Carol was a friend, a confidant, an amazing and confident woman. We always texted, spoke on the phone, facebooked, and after many years living in different places got to
visit in July for my birthday. I will always remember her strength throughout her illness. She never complained and continued to "pray her heart out" for others. Rest in peace,
