In 1973, my first job right out of high school was at the Owens-Illinois Closure Division plant in St. Charles, IL. Daniel “Danny” was my supervisor in the Decorating department. I later worked in the Finishing department where Danny had then become Supervisor. He was a kind and fair man, very well-liked by the crews in those two departments, and I’m sure I can speak for all of them that he was truly respected and admired. My sincere condolences to his family.

Dan was always so happy and loved life to the fullest. He would have great stories and jokes to tell when we visited. He will be deeply missed.
Dan was always happy to see me every time we were together I didn’t have much time with Dan but I’m positive he was a good man and lived life to the fullest my heart goes out to Cindy and rest of the family you are all in my prayers
