We so appreciate the love and support from our friends and extended family. With sadness, but also hope and great faith, we share the news of the passing of our family patriarch, David Swor at age 89 from Alzheimer’s disease complications.
We brought him home with hospice care so he could have his final days with his loving wife and soulmate of 47 years, our mother, Doris Swor by his side. He lived a wonderful life and will always be remembered for his honesty, integrity, work ethic, humility, moral code, good humor, positivity, wisdom and generosity. Leeanne, Brenda and I had the privilege of having a long goodbye these last few days and nights. His last words to me were “ …you have a great smile!”
I can tell you I have spent my whole life trying to be half the man my pop was. Love you big daddy Dave!

I feel blessed and extremely fortunate to have had Uncle D in my life. He was such an incredibly kind and loving man to accept the kid that showed up every summer during school break. He always asked me how my life was going and always had great advice! It’s hard to find genuine people in this life but uncle D was always honest and sincere in everything he did. He lived an incredibly full life and was greatly loved by me.I will miss him immensely.
