Dawn I will always remember all the fun we had growing up in Hillsdale. We had a blast riding your tandom bike into town from your house, all the hours spent swimming in the lake, and all the sleep-overs at both our houses. To Dawny, My heart is broken, my mind races, and my eyes shed tears for an incomprehensible loss. I continually think back to every time I saw you and your smile. You were always happy and the world's problems went away with your presence. My fondest memories and most anticipated event every year is when you and Allan would invite the family over for Christmas cookies. The cookies you made were decorated very fancy, made you feel warm, loved, and you could not get enough of them. Your Christmas cookies exemplified who you were as a person. My memory of you will never fade and knowing your at peace has its strange sense of comfort. I know you and grandpa are together talking about the good times. I was very sad to hear of the loss of Dawn. She was always wearing a smile and a warmness in her heart that I will always remember. I am overjoyed that she is a believer and is in heaven. Praise God!
I grew up down the road from Dawn and we graduated Hillsdale High School together in 1982. I have so many fond memories of times shared with Dawn. Dawn was a dear, sweet friend. Honest,Caring, Compassionate,Considerate,and loving. Especially,loving of "her Alan." Her giggle,smile, and the way she bounced her hair around will always be my memory of my little Dawnie. We shared many life changes through 23 years of friendship. My heart goes out to the family of Dawn. We were neighbors growing up at Sand Lake and always looked out for the 'littlest' one – that was Dawn. I'm saddened that her life has ended so soon.
