Conte Family,I did not know Mr. Conte, but I remember my dad, James W. Goldstein, speaking of what a good and fair man he was. Dad worked with/for Don at Uniroyal in Port Clinton, Ohio. May God uphold you in your time of sorrow.
I never had the honor to meet Mr. Conty, however my husband, Mike and I have known his son Dan for over 25 years. As Dan is an amazing man of strong integrity, intelligence, humor, and strong family values, we believe the apple must not have fallen far from the tree, and from what we have heard, Dan learned many of these traits from his father. It is always sad to lose a beloved parent, so Mike and I offer our deep sympathy to all members of the extended Conty family. As we both have lost our parents, it is the warm memories that carry us on, and the hope that the best of them can come through us and be carried down to the next generation.
