I just found out today that you had passed from a few co-workers. I was a store manager for him and his partner for papa johns pizza. Don was a very blunt man. He would tell you how it is. He was very knowledgeable and he was also very helpful. I remember him telling me that, be a leader not a boss during my employment. My condolences to the rest of his family. May you all find light in this time of need.
Don and I knew each other in grade and high school in Woodstock, Illinois. He was a nice guy and someone you never forget. So sorry to hear of his passing. Suzie Benton Kiddoo
I’ve known Don since 1999 when he moved into Forestwood Apts in Ft. Myers. I was working for Pam as her Maintenance Tech and then Supervisor. Don Was always quick witted and very businesslike. I have so many memories with time shared with him but my favorite is how he courted Pam and eventually married her. He made her happy. I deeply respect Don and will miss him.
