My deepest condolences to the family of my dear Aunt Doris. I have many happy childhood memories visiting in New Rochelle, this one in particular. Bobby decided to ride his bike to Nat & Doris' house, with me on the back "seat" (it was a metal book rack - ouch). He was 12, I was 9. We had a street map (there was no GPS in 1966). When we got there, no one was home. Bob was gonna leave the map with a note that we were there, but I was terrified we'd never find our way home without the map. Just then, Aunt Doris drove up, rather surprised to see us there, but had to go back to work (or someplace). I was so happy we didn't have to leave the map. Aunt Doris saved our lives! God bless you, Aunt Doris.
