Aunt Dorothy was one of my favorite aunts. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, but she was a loving lady and always made me feel loved as her niece. All of my aunts, uncles, and both of my parents ( Uncle Jim and Aunt Vivian) and sister
(Patti Ann) have passed on and are missed greatly. Having eternity in mind, may we all seek the true Giver of Life and put our faith in Jesus Christ who gave his life as a ransom for those who turn to Him and put their trust in him! My memories of Dottie will always be with me. It was so much fun going out on the Presti’s beautiful boat, where Dottie and I would be served drinks by Sal as is we were royalty. I will always remember the nights going out dressed in our beautiful gowns, which my husband Jack would bring home for us to choose from (sometimes we would even fight over which one we would wear-always in good humor.) We had so many wonderful times, had a wonderful cruise with both our families. We always felt lucky to have such wonderful neighbors that turned into so many memorable times and so many fun social activities. She will always be remembered with love and fondness.

My memories are of her being such a terrific mom to her kids (always reminded me of Donna Reed or one of those TV Mom’s ?? (I could smell her wonderful cooking now ?? and always being there for her kids when they needed her, and being a wonderful friend to my mom and Dad. (We were so lucky to have moved next door to the Presti’s – we ended up with friends for a lifetime.) The memories of growing up and seeing Mrs. Presti and my mom ready to go out -always decked to the 9’s looking like movies stars – made me always want to get older quicker so I could live that wonderful exciting life. I will remember her warm laughter – that always made me smile and feel like it was a party, and for her sweet kindness and never ending elegance. RIP Mrs. Presti – you will always be with us.
