Douglas Junior Wheeler's Obituary
Mr. Douglas Junior Wheeler, 82, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 At Hope Hospice of Cape Coral. He was a retired Auto Parts Salesman with Woodsville Auto Supply, a member of the North Fort Myers Church of God and the Free and Accepted Masons (F. & A. M.). Mr. Wheeler enjoyed working with wood; making various woodcrafts and selling them at flea markets throughout the area. He was born July 24, 1931 in Woodsville, NH to the late Leslie Everett Wheeler and Ethel Mae James Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Dudley Wheeler (2003). He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Hazel E. Wheeler; his son, Douglas S. Wheeler of North Fort Myers, FL; daughter, Elisabeth Johnson of Tice, FL; son, Leslie F. Wheeler (Anna) of Williamstown, VT and son, Timothy A. Wheeler (Lynn) of N. Ft. Myers, FL; sister, Barb Meyette of Wells River, VT; sister-in-law, Joann Wheeler of Wells River, VT; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services 5pm Friday, June 6, 2014 at the North Fort Myers Church of God 5781 Bayshore Rd. N. Ft. Myers, FL. An additional memorial service will also be held at a later date at Pinehurst Cemetery in South Ryegate, VT. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a local Free and Accepted Masons Lodge.
