Grandma's wisdom and her ability to see to see the beauty in everyone around around her was a unique gift she gave to us all. Please plan time for a short trip to accompany me up to NY in August to All Saints Church, son, to lay Grandma to rest.
Grandma,Thank you for everything. I don't know where to begin or if my fingers could even type all there is to say. You have always helped me and you have helped me through so many things from giving me advice to helping raise me (and my brother). I will always miss your presence, your laugh, and the times Matt and I would go visit you in Fairways III when I was younger. Most of all I will always miss my Grandma Edith. I remember you used to let me "show you" how to use a computer. It was the first time an adult had let me teach them something and it was quite empowering. And you encouraged this and other thinking (my reading all the time) always reminding me to work hard. I have never needed that encouragement more than I do now and I thank you for ALWAYS giving me this and everything else you gave as a grandma.Zoi se mas = May life be granted to us. Grandma Edith,When you're little you don't always realize how lucky you are to have certain people in your life. Yet somehow, very early on, I realized I was lucky to have you as a Grandma. Since I was little you always gave me the right …advice (even when I didn't want to hear it) and more love than I could have ever asked for. Tonight you passed on and I will painfully miss you. But I am so thankful to you for everything you have taught/given me and I will make full use of it. While I wish you could have made it to this graduation, I am so grateful you hung in there to know that I did it. I could not have done it without you.I will always remember, your words, your smile, your laugh, and how much you cared for your grandsons.I love you Yaya, Jonny

I will never forget just how caring & helping your Mother was to me while my Dad was in his last days in 2003. She did your laundry & was there to talk with me at the end of the day. She also gave me a special bear that sang my Dad's song "You are my sunshine". She was a very special lady to many at Fairways 111Love you my friend
