Edward “Ed” Xavier Callahan III of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully under Hospice care with his loving family by his side on Saturday, December 23, 2023. He was 73 years old. Ed was born in Newton, Massachusetts on Janu Read Obituary
Ed was a mentor to me and never knew it. I admired and respected him very much. He taught me to understand things better when I was struggling to understand. After years of aquentance He help me become a better person. He always listened no matter what. He offered me both guidance and understanding when I could use it most. I will never forget the visits and boat trips with him. He will be greatly missed and remembered by us all.
Callahan Family, my heart breaks hearing about Ed. He was our dear friend from the first time we met in 1990. Our families traveled to Florida, Cruises in the Caribbean and adult trips. So many fond memories. We were to go to Curacao in November but plans changed . Instead we shared Thanksgiving with Ed and Debbie. Treasured memory now. Last year we went to the St. Pete Indy race and OH What A Night! RIP, Ed
