I’m so very disappointed I didn’t know about Emmette and Janet’s service. My late husband worked for Emmette at the City of Fort Myers and I worked there as well. I also worked on their home computer. I wish I could have paid last respects to them on behalf of the Weightman’s.
Janet passed away a few months before my husband, Byron. Emmette and I would talk every couple months to help each other through the grieving process. He loved his Janet so much!!!
I’ve NEVER and I mean never met a finer gentleman! He was so kind, gentle, even tempered and so smart. During any emergency at the City, we could rely on Emmette to be the calm one. They certainly broke the mold when they made him!!
I know when Emmette arrived at the pearly gates, he was sent right to the penthouse. I also know he was beyond excited to see his sweet Janet again.
Please accept my condolences from the Weightman family.
