15 years ago, on another Easter, a large gathering of friends and family was at Barb and Bill’s house. People were spread out in multiple rooms. When it came time to eat, Bill stood right by the refrigerator and called for everyone’s attention and said grace. I so appreciated his spiritual leadership then and before each meal I was part of. Then there was another side of him- relaxed and lighthearted, loving all that were around him, human or animal. He filled all our hearts. His light will never dim.
Bill came to visit me at Penn Hall before he and my sister, Barbara were married. He drove up in his blue Chevy Impala with the top down and wearing his Army uniform. The girls were hanging out the windows watching this handsome man coming to see his "little sister". I love you very much.
