One of my favorite and memorable times was 31 August 1997. Aunt Margaret, Uncle Frank and Tommy as well as Monica and Randy came up the Chicago River on their boat. We arranged a pick up for me at Marina Towers because I was working in downtown Chicago. I had to hop over the rails of the river walk to board the boat.
We had a great ride around Lake Michigan and then went to Belmont Harbor so they could dock for the night. We had a lovely Chinese dinner and then Tommy came to stay with me at my condo for the night. It was a very fun day.
Sail easy, Uncle Frank. You will now always have calm seas and favorable breezes.
Much love to you Aunt Margaret. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. - Matthew 5:4
