I was saddened to learn of Tom's passing from the staff at Lake Kennedy Senior Center where I was privileged to have Tom as one of my Tai Chi students. He was a sweet and kind gentleman who I got to know several years ago when he took another class from me to learn about how to take care of himself in his new role as a caregiver for his beloved spouse Marilyn. It was a pleasant surprise this December when he appeared in my Tai Chi class and we quickly got reacquainted. He was very enthusiastic about Tai Chi and so much so that he asked me to bring Tai Chi to Heron's Glen and worked to sponsor a meeting with the recreation committee who approved his proposal. I will carry fond memories of Tom and his enthusiasm and look forward to conducting the Tai Chi program at Herons Glen next fall in his honor. Mark Franzblau

I sure enjoyed Monday nights playing Texas Hold 'em with Tom and the others. He was always such a gentlemen. When he came with the Farleys to pick me up, he would always come to my door to carry my bag and then on the way home, he always walked me back into the house. He thought that was the thing to do.

Marilyn, Mary, Linda, Diana, and family, We were so saddened to learn of Bud's passing. He was truly devoted to and loved you dearly. It was good to see you folks year before last. He offered us to stay any time–gracious, sincere, and hospitable as Bud always was. Wish we could have made it back. One of the memories I have of Bud is when I was very Young maybe 9 or 10 I told Bud I wished I could by Christmas presents for everyone at Christmas. The next Christmas there were presents under the tree from me. Bud went out and bought the whole family presents and put my name on them. This went on for several years.Larry Hanger
