G. Thomas Arbogast's Obituary
G. Thomas Arbogast of the Herons Glen community of North Fort Myers, Florida and formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 in Cape Coral Hospital. He was 86. He was born February 17, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Roy T. and Louise Arbogast. Mr. Arbogast worked as a banker and retired after 40+ years in the banking business. He was devoted to his faith as a lifelong and committed member of the Catholic Church. In North Fort Myers, he was an active member of St. Therese Parish. Throughout his professional career he mentored many youth by being actively involved in the Junior Achievement Program. After retirement, G. Thomas remained active with the Senior Centers at Lake Kennedy and North Fort Myers. There, he enjoyed playing cards, dancing and listening to music. Mr. Arbogast was a beloved husband, a devoted father, a loving grandfather and great grandfather who will be sorely missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Carlene Shrader. He is survived by his loving wife of 65+ years, Marilyn Lee Arbogast; their three children, Mary Muller (Richard) of North Fort Myers, Florida, Linda Beinlich (Robert) of East Meadow, New York and Diana Severini of Windermere, Florida. He is the dear brother of Idelle Akers of Indianapolis, Indiana; the loving grandfather of Gregory Muller, Keith Muller (Stephanie) and Laura Beinlich and the great grandfather of four great grandchildren, Marseilles Muller, Sean Muller, Solene Muller, and Julia Muller. Visitation will be 3pm until 5pm and 6pm until 8pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Wednesday, April 6, 2015 at St. Therese Catholic Church 20115 N Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903. Entombment will follow in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in his honor to The Alzheimer’s Association-Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, 14010 Roosevelt Blvd., #709, Clearwater, Florida 33762 or St. Therese Catholic Church c/o Fr.
