To his sister Betty, and the rest of the family ,It was wonderful to meet you all @ the service,It's easy to see where Gary got his sweet .spirit and caring nature. His family of course, for it was evident at the service . Gary was a spirit of goodwill .and caring to all he came in contact with. I know for I was ,one of those people that Gary had blessed is own way..Eventthough my place of volunteer was back ink the ,Nursery, I often found myself coming in line with Gary and on his way to his position as crossing guard. I'd always ask him how he was doing and when he hadn't been there I would tell him how he was missed,In a way I feel kind of cheated, for just in the last month I was making an effort to spend more time w/ Gary and I feel I was starting to actually become his friend. Then he started to lose time ,due to the nature of his illness. But I was lucky to catch one quick moment with Gary as he was headed for the office. We had just crossed the street together. I said ,to myself There 's Gary and He is looking pretty good. So I said "How are you doing GaRy?" And he said to me "I'm doing pretty good"then I said " I missed you". I never thought I'd be saying "I missed you" for the last time to him that day. Then on Christmas Eve I missed seeing him in the hospital by just hours. Gary, I shall miss my new friend for a very long time. May God you forever in his care until we meet again.Your friend in Christ Cinda Carothers
