Dear Karen,I was saddened to learn of your loss. George was a great attorney. He was so well-liked & highly regarded in the Indiana utility regulatory bar (the ISBA ULS). Everyone who worked with him at the OUCC had fun memories to share, because George didn't just practice law, he loved it! He will also be remembered for his sense of humor & eclectic taste in music. And for anyone who ever attended ISBA gatherings with you two, he will be remembered line-dancing with you, the center of his fun. I was surprised to learn that George wrote a book a few years ago. I will look forward to reading it. My brother, Buzz, & his wife, Nancy, have a condo in Ft.Myers. I would love for you to meet Nancy – she lights up a room — just like you do! I hope your kids are doing well. It's hard to lose someone so dear to all of you. Prayers for comfort & healing in the weeks & months ahead.

Karen:Billy and I were both shocked and saddened to hear of George's death. You have our most heartfelt sympathy. George was such a great attorney and wonderful boss. What a great mind! I remember his desk being a mess, but he knew where everything was! I thought I had organized his desk one time in a very "neat" way, but I turned his world upside down – never did that again!We have such fond memories of you and George from all those great parties! Memories of softball, your party room with the lava lamps, mirror ball, karaoke – oh what great memories. It was a very special time for us and we will always remember him and the good times we shared. The loss of George has to be a profound loss for you, Alisa and Bob along with their families. We can only imagine your grief. If it is any consolation, we share your pain immensely because he was one of the best! I know that you will find the strength to get through this very sad and difficult time. Knowing that your family and friends are there for you will hopefully be of solace.
