Mr. George Stribley Rogers, Jr. of Fort Myers Beach, Florida passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Evans Healthcare after some recent health challenges. He was 81. George was born July 25, 1935 in Shelbyville, Indiana; the only son of the late Frances I. and George S. Rogers, Sr. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (1992). George is survived by his loving daughter, Deborah Forsyth and her husband, Tom. Immediate funeral services are pending. Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is serving the family.
