Georgia (aka Red), we were life long friends having been the same age, grew up in the same neighborhood one block away, attended grade school and high school together. Many fond memories of Georgia from those years and wish we had stayed in touch more over the years. She was so much fun and what a nut, rest in peace my favorite squirrel. Dave Thomas

I have to say my fondest memories of Georgia were in High School. Georgia was part of a group of girls, myself included, that were lovingly referred to as "the squirrels." She was always fun to be around and I can still hear her contagious laugh! You were loved and will me missed. Cindy
My heart goes out to Georgia's family ~ She was a delight to meet and get to know. We were in the same Sunday School Class for new people at Concord Baptist, Anderson, SC. Several couples in that class had just moved to the area and we enjoyed the class socials and stories of either "back when" and/or stories about adjusting to a new place at this age of our lives. Georgia had such a big heart. When someone's pet dog ran out in front of us coming home from a SS party we turned around to find the owner. Georgia was on the phone checking to see if we were okay at 11:30 at night bc we had been following them back to Sandy Springs. I'm so sorry for this loss and my heart is sad that I didn't get the chance to get to know her better. God bless you all. My Aunt Georgia was always fun to be around. Even as a kid, I remember her as a giving, nice, fun-loving person. I will miss her laugh and her smile. She is gone way too soon, but will never be forgotten.
