Georgia Lynn Addis' Obituary
Georgia Lynn Addis of Williamston, South Carolina and formerly of Joliet Illinois and Jupiter, Florida, passed away unexpectedly in Rotonda West, Florida. She was 56. Georgia was born November 26, 1959 in Joliet, Illinois to the late Harold and Reba Saltzman. She worked several years as a hairstylist in Jupiter, Florida and was passionate about her work. Also, while living in Jupiter, Florida, she actively volunteered at Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary and Hospital. Georgia loved animals and assisted with many animal rescues and assistance after hurricanes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters in law, Martha Saltzman and Dianne Saltzman. Georgia is survived by her husband, Steve C. Addis; stepson, Joshua (Erin Doyle) Addis of Illinois; stepdaughter, Lori Addis Fitzpatrick (Shane) of Illinois; sister, Sue (Karl) Wheatley of Florida; brother, Harold (Joann) Saltzman, Jr. of Missouri; brother, Frank Saltzman of Illinois and brother, John (Vanessa) Saltzman of Illinois. She is also survived by two grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 6:00 PM, Thursday, September 15, 2016 in the Channahon United Methodist Church, 24751 W. Eames Street, Channahon, IL 60410. In memory of Georgia, memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association National Office, 225 N.
