I knew Gerry mainly from a distance, through the obvious happiness he brought my sister Mary these last few years. I did get to meet him once up here and then again, briefly and too near the end, in Florida. Sometimes in-laws are winners, and Gerry is proof. I'll never forget the commercial eHarmony.com made about that wonderful pairing. Mary, as the present pain subsides, I hope you'll treasure that video forever.Your brother Andy
Gerry will always be remembered for his generous spirit and was a bright spot in working for the Florida Department of Revenue. He came through our area quite often to visit with Mary Bennett and bring her a flower (that made her day). I still have the window shade he gave me in 1999 when I bought the Sonata. Every time I put the shade up, I think of him.May god bless you as you go through this difficult time.Judith Archey

Gerry,I can't thank you enough for taking care of my mom. You were so good to her and I really appreciate that. Gerry is one of the special people I will always remember, and cherish as freind and family. Taking special time with me to teach, tutor,and sometimes kidd a little. God bless his family and God bless Gerry, he be sorely missed !!!!Sometimes you don't see a friend as often as you would have wished, but they are always with you when you carry them in your heart.
