Sue & Chris, We are sorry to learn of your loss.
I would like to extend my sympathy to the family in the loss of your father. Your mother and father were very dear friends of my husband, Bill and I. In the last few years after your mother's death I would send your father the church bulletin and we would talk on the telephone. He enjoyed working in his yard, and often would talk about memories of the past and his family. Your parents were dear to us, and I will always have those memories of them to cherish. May God bless you, and may your memories be of comfort to you at this time. Sincerely Geneva
s SUE,SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR FATHER,
Jerry was a kind, generous, honest, and considerate man. He was a friends friend…always ready for a little joke/prank and I will always remember his smile and laugh. He was a great businessman and I learned a lot from him. He will be missed by many. My condolances to Susan and Chris.
Gerald, our dear friend will be missed by all of us here at College MCD. He had a great sense of humor, always shared his heart with others. His family and friends became a part of our Mcd family. May he rest peacefully. Jazz
Susan and Chris: We are so sorry for the passing of your father. He was a very dear man and Uncle. The kids have fond memories of him visiting in MD and playing 'school" with them. I first met him at our wedding and instantly like him. Of course Robin knew him a lot longer and has always loved him. Her Uncle Bud and Uncle Jerry were father figures for her as she didn't know her dad. She will miss him. We told Doris and she cried and wishes that she could have said goodbye to him, but in her state of mind, I don't think she remembers the conversation. She still wants him to come and visit her.
What a huge hole in humanity Jerry leaves. His wisdom, wit,and sage advice will be sorely missed. His unique voice still rings in our ears, and he could take all sorts of prizes for stubborness! Our yearly trips to Florida will not be the same without our stops at Leeward Ct. We would like to express our special thanks to his good neighbor Jerry who helped him in all sorts of ways. We send our love to his daughter Susan and son Chris, who though far away were never out of Jerry's heart. We will miss this giant of a man. Love, Pete and Anne
