Glenn Lewis Johnston Genuine Humble Loving ?á Glenn L. Johnston, age 70, of Cape Coral, FL entered into Heaven on July 9, 2011 after a long illness. ?á He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to many.?á He never met a stranger. ?á Glenn was born on September 29, 1940 in Pulaski VA.?á After serving in the United States Army from 1963-1965 in Colorado Springs, CO he was a dedicated employee to Eastern Airlines, 29 years and Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center, 14 years.?á He resided in Cape Coral, FL but always called Pulaski, VA his home. ?á Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Margaret; children Susan, Scott and Shanna; son-in-law Mike; grandchildren Lucas, Sarah, Abbey, Elianna; brothers, Frank of Bluefield, VA, Garnett and wife Ruth of Gainesville, VA and many family and friends that he loved dearly. ?á He was preceded in death by his parents Abbie and Kunkle Johnston.?á Brothers ?áArnold, Donald and Audrey Johnston. ?áGlenn enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, jewelry making and spending time with family, neighbors and friends. ?á A memorial service to honor and remember Glenn’s life will be held at the Faith Assembly of God, 6950 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, FL?á 33917 on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 am.
