My deepest condolences on the loss of this wonderful man to Madame D., Elise, Douglas, David, Suzanne, and Michael, and your families. The de Lisser's were our cherished neighbors in Piermont for many years. They will always have a special place in my heart. Mr. deLisser was a gem!

I too am a proud Piermonter, like the DeLisser's. Our children went to the same school but I never got to know them till later in life. We attended the same church and both Carolyn and Peter were a blessing to many of us. They were devout Christians. My prayers are with Carolyn and their children. Their faith will sustain them in the days ahead.
I will remember Pete as a good friend and fellow VFW member . I took over as commander of the VFW from Pete. He will be missed .
